Cafe Ministry is an in-person and online meeting place where individuals gather for encouragement, inspiration, prayer, worship, conversation, and fellowship as inspired by Acts 2:46-47.
Two of God's greatest commandments are to love God with all your heart and to love others (Matthew 22:37-39). This is the foundational purpose of Cafe Ministry: to build our love for God, helping others along the way.
We discuss a variety of topics including mental health, addiction, physical health, and how God's Word applies to our lives today.
Sharing God’s love with adults who have a Developmental Disability
St. Paul’s began a partnership in 2009 with Immanuel Christian Reformed Church and Trinity Anglican Church to sponsor this renewal initiative.
Worship, learning and fellowship are facilitated by music, Bible stories, crafts and prayer.
Many other informal activities are arranged through-out the year.
The renewal initiative experienced a temporary hold on events due to the pandemic.
In 2023 we began meeting again on the first and third Wednesday of each month from 7-8:30 pm. Everyone is welcome to come for a visit. You will be warmly welcomed!
For more information please call Linda Shaw.
Monthly, from September to June, ladies of the church gather for lunch at a local restaurant.
No agenda. No executive.
A friendly time of food and fellowship.
Everyone welcome--even the guys!
This is your invitation!!!

For 65 years, the Thistles have been dedicated to serving St. Paul’s through fund-raisers, including catering.
In the past they hosted an annual fund-raising event, the Holly Tea and Bazaar, a Christmas luncheon and sale--the spectacular Thistle made fruit and meat pies are fiercely sought after and purchased. In 2022, they held a Cookie Walk (and knitting) instead of the former Holly Tea and Bazaar.
Proceeds are donated to special projects and ongoing congregational needs.
Our Mission's team serves to connect blessings and resources to those in need within our community and the world abroad. Outreach helps us grow in understanding of Christ's call to serve others and to proclaim the gospel, as a prime example of faithful stewardship.
Local Mission
A Thanksgiving food drive and a Christmas gift drive are organized in support of 'Quetzal Family Home'.'
A collection of food, diapers, and baby supplies is organized at Mothers' Day in support of the Norfolk Pregnancy Centre.
At Christmas food drive is organized and provided to augment the Christmas food hampers given out by the Salvation Army.
Our congregation collects hats, scarves, mittens and socks through our Mittens for Mission fundraiser--donations are sent to the Norfolk Pregnancy Centre, Church Out Serving and Haldimand Norfolk Women’s Services.
International Mission
St. Paul's is a generous financial supporter through Presbyterians Sharing and Presbyterian World Service and Development--specifically, Francisco Coll School in the Guatemala city dump. Donations gleaned through regular designated offerings and proceeds generated by Mission's annual fundraisers.
Our annual Community BBQs are held in July and August respectively.
In 2022, both yielded greater than anticipated outcomes — serving approximately 800 burgers combined.
Community engagement could be recognized through demonstrated acts of kindness, and hearts of service.
Numerous volunteers exhibited the love of God as observed by smiles, compassion, prayer, and ministry.
Practical demonstrations of God’s love emanated throughout the evening! We are humbly grateful to all who participated and contributed to the event’s success.
For over 100 years, women of all ages have gathered, at St. Paul's, as members of Mission Circle--a branch of Women's Missionary Society (WMS) of the Presbyterian Church in Canada (PCC).
"The Women's Missionary Society is a community of Christians whose purpose, in response to the love of God in Jesus Christ, is to encourage one another and all the people of the church to be involved in local and world mission through prayer, study, service and fellowship."
The purpose of Mission Circle:
